Does the library have the article I need?
A journal citation provides the details of an article published in a particular Year / volume and issue of a journal.
To find the journal article from the citation you need to find out
1. Does the library have the journal (a title search via the catalogue)
2. Does the library hold the journal for the year when the article was published - open and read the catalogue record.
3. Is it available online or in Print?

Step 1
Look up the title of the journal in the catalogue

Step 2
Look at both the print and online record to find out how to get the article
From the shelf or online
Print Holdings are pictured. The article we need is in volume 47 2001.
Therefore, it is not available from the printed holdings on the shelf

Look now at the online holdings
Volume 47 2001 would not be available via Proquest.
It is available from Project Muse

Step 3
Click on Project Muse and select the Volume 47 issue no. 2. Browse the Table of contents for the article.
