Finding Journal Articles
Finding journal articles is easy once you know how.
Two popular methods are:
- By Journal Title (Select this link to learn more)
- Use this option when you have a journal citation (or a reference to an article) and want to access it
- By Keyword Searching (Select this link to learn more)
- Use this option when you have an assignment requiring you to find articles on a topic
- Use this option when you need help choosing a database* suitable for your topic
*Databases are collections of journal articles, book chapters and/or conference papers available electronically. Some databases include the complete article (full-text), while some only give a brief description of the article (abstract).
Library Databases are sorted by broad Subject headings (eg: Education) or
alphabetically via title (eg: Factiva: news and business information) under the Articles via Databases tab on the Library website
