Welcome to this skills module on the ethical use of information.
In this module you will learn about ethical issues such as knowing how and when to give credit for information and ideas taken from others, by appropriately citing sources in order to avoid plagiarism.
Using information in an ethical way does not just mean looking after your books, treating them well and returning them on the due date!
You will also learn about:
- Respecting intellectual property rights and copyright
- Respecting ownership of knowledge
- Respecting the privacy of certain information
