About this module

Language skills are core to your success at university. You will employ and develop written communication skills (e.g. to write essays or reports) and oral communication skills (e.g. to participate in tutorials, give presentations, or communicate with lecturers and other students).

Communication skills are important not only to your success at uni, but also to your professional career development. Communication skills are highly praised by potential employers; in fact, being a good communicator is the number one skill employers look for in graduates. This module contains resources and activities that will enable you to improve and develop your language skills at uni.

  • How to identify and correct common grammatical errors in your writing
