Life Matters - ABC Radio National
(From a recent Life Matters broadcast)
A report making the case for wholescale reform of how schools are funded in Australia was released (July 1st) by the Foundation for Young Australians.
The report, Resourcing Schools in Australia, recommends
that all schools be funded under a single framework in contrast with the current system where the states mostly fund public education, and the Commonwealth finances non government schools.
