Introduction to Resource

This guide provides an introduction to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) International Classification for Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).

You will find links to resources specific to the ICF by WHO and also some links to resources that have been created by government and professional bodies.

There are also a couple of short quizes for you to complete that will help you to reflect on your own thinking about 'disability' and where there might be gaps in your knowledge about the ICF.

For those enrolled in HLT1IPA, you will find this resource especially helpful during Week 7 & 8 of Semester 1. However, it is anticipated that it will be helpful for all those studying subjects that relate to disability and function.
