Importance Status

Each resource on your reading list must be assigned an importance status of Required or Recommended. This helps students to plan their study, as well as providing guidance for the library when purchasing resources. Please allow at least 3 weeks for the library to purchase new resources.

Required

A required status indicates that a student must read/watch/listen to this resource in order to reach the subject intended learning outcomes. If in print book format these resources will be available for 3 hour loan.

Recommended

A recommended status is for students who wish to extend themselves through additional reading. If in print book format these resources will be available for 3 days, 7 days, or 28 days depending on demand.
