What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML format used to publish rapidly changing web content. 

RSS feeds push updates from relevant websites to subscribers. They help you keep up with information from many websites without having to visit them individually.

Many publishers of subscription databases offer alerts via RSS feeds.
