Manually adding research outputs to RMS

Adding research outputs can be a slow and tedious process, but it gives you the maximum level of control over the records. You are able to edit them as appropriate, which isn't possible using the other methods discussed in this guide.

  1. Log into your ARC RMS account
  2. Click on "Research Outputs" (bottom of page)
  3. Click on "Add Manually" (top of list)
  4. Select the appropriate publication type
  5. Select the appropriate title format (in most cases this will be "Text")
  6. Enter the details for your research output
  7. Note that to add authors, you have to click on the "Add+" button on the far right of the screen (next to author) after typing in the First Name and Family Name
  8. Click on "Save"
