Making my Reading List visible
Reviewing and publishing
- All new lists will default to ‘private’ – this means that only staff and students with La Trobe credentials can access. If they are to be used by non-La Trobe students (i.e. short course students, also known as La Trobe learners) please contact the reading list team to change this to ‘public’. Before they are published to make them visible to students, we recommend selecting ‘Review & Publish’ to allow library staff to review.
- When the library reviews your list they are checking for resources that need to be purchased and whether the library can acquire in digital format, as well as checking the copyright compliance of the resources on the list.
- If your existing list has been updated and you have no purchases or notes for the library you can simply 'Publish’ to make your changes immediately visible.
-
Your reading list should be completed at least 2 weeks before the teaching period commences, however all digitisation and purchase requests need to be requested well in advance.
