Help
Academic Skills Advisors and Peer Learning Advisors helps students to further develop their academic writing and other study skills. You can go prepared with specific questions, or ask for feedback on your drafts. They can advise on structure, formality, clarity, language etc. but cannot edit your work or advise on content.
Academic Skills Advisors
Academic Skills Advisors have specialist qualifications in academic language, linguistics, education, ESL and similar, and can advise students with more complex needs. Appointments with Academic Skills Advisors are best suited to longer, more in-depth consultations.
Online appointments are available on Mondays to Fridays.
Peer Learning Advisors (PLAs)
PLAs (Peer Learning Advisors) are high performing students who have been carefully selected to help you with your study and assignments.
You can drop in to see a PLA via Zoom from 11.00am–6.00pm AEST on Mondays to Fridays and 11.00am-4.00pm during semester.
