Psychological tests
Psychological testing in education
Educational Psychology Assessment helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a learner, as well as their personal learning style. Assessments are undertaken by Educational Psychologists who have trained to conduct and interpret specific tests and advise on interventions. Psychologists work under strict guidelines and a Code of Ethics, and access to many tests is restricted to those who are qualified to use them.
La Trobe University provides access to Psychological Testing resources particularly for staff and students of the Department of Psychology and Counselling. Other La Trobe staff and students can also access these resources. The resources provide information about a range of unpublished, historical and commercial tests and in some cases provide instructions for administration and samples.
