Dardalis Archives of the Hellenic Diaspora

The Dardalis Archives of the Hellenic Diaspora is a special collection at La Trobe University and contains materials from the University’s former National Centre for Hellenic Studies and Research.

The material is stored on 76 pallets and thousands of archive boxes, plus 80 linear meters of bound newspapers, newsreels, films, art objects, photographs and other assorted materials and covers a wide variety of subjects related to Greek Australian migration, history, religion and culture.

Archives are often organised in boxes and you can find and retrieve items from boxes if you have their accession number (i.e. NSW.COMM/8/103).
