Login help

Login troubleshooting

Make sure you're using the right access screen to login.                                    

  • Find a link in Library Search                                                                           
  • Find a link in the Database page

Or you can use one of these links:

These links will ask you to login to your La Trobe account first, then sign into ClinicalKey using the login you made.

If you have never used ClinicalKey before, you need to make a free account first. Check out the Students or Staff pages in this guide to find out more.

If you are using ClinicalKey's general login screen

ClinicalKey's general login screen looks almost identical to the login screens at the links above but has a slightly different web address. 

https://www.clinicalkey.com/student/nursing/login

When logging in via this page, you need to let ClinicalKey know you have access via La Trobe.

If you get an error while putting in your details, try Log in via your institution under More Options.

 

There are two options from here.

Option 1:

  1. Search for La Trobe University and click or tap to select.
  2. A pop-up may ask you to Choose Organization
  3. Select La Trobe University, IP_La Trobe University.

  4. You will be brought back to the login screen, and you should be able to login with your ClinicalKey username and password. 


Option 2:

  1. Use the dropdown menu to Select your region or group and choose Australian Access Federation (AFF).
  2. Click or tap link for La Trobe University

  3. A pop-up may ask you to Choose Organization
  4. Select La Trobe University, IP_La Trobe University.


     
  5. You will be brought back to the Login screen, and you should be able to login with your ClinicalKey username and password.
