Educational resources

The School of Education has agreed that the following key resources should be referenced as outlined in this page.  These examples follow the principles of APA 7 and are intended for School of Education students at La Trobe University only.

If the resource that you want to reference is not in this section of the guide then use the other pages of the Academic Referencing Tool to reference correctly. If in doubt, contact the Library via phone, chat or email for support.

  • For works by the same author and year, arrange them alphabetically by surname and then by title. Add the suffixes a, b, c, etc. to the publication year and refer to these in the in-text citation., e.g. AGDE (2022a) or (AGDE, 2022b).
  • The reference provided in the document itself is not in APA 7 style and has been adjusted here to fit APA 7.
  • This reference uses the same template as a government report.
